Spring Photos

We had Spring Photos done at UT Botanical Gardens
by Rhonda Thompson Photography.
It was a bright, sunny day!

Landon was not too happy (he always has the 'furrowed' brows).
So, he got a RED sucker. Needless to say, Anna had to have one too...

At least he shared...

No, it's not lipstick - Anna with RED sucker lips

Check out those 'caterpillar' brows... ;)

Spring Break / Easter

We went to Wilderness of the Smokies during Spring Break. Josh and Rachel went with us. Anna got brave and rode a few 'big' slides.

Happy 4th Birthday Anna!

Anna had a week long birthday celebration. She was so excited this year. She would count down the days until her party at the
Bounce House, a family gathering, and cupcakes at her school.
She is such a big girl!

Anna and her good buddy Paul are two peas in a pod.

Can you tell how excited she was to see him?

Thanks Megan for the cupcake indulgence!

Tis the Season...

We had an eventful Christmas. The week before Christmas, Landon got sick. He was sick for several days with a fever and he was not eating much. Finally, after my 3rd doctor visit with him, we decided one evening that he needed to go to Children's ER because he was not getting better (even being on strong antibiotics). He was quite lethargic and pitiful. The ER ran several tests and diagnosed him with RSV. We spent 3 days in the hospital (our first overnight at Children's). We concluded our week with school ending and Anna's Christmas dance recital. The next week, Anna ran a fever for a few days and they thought she had a milder version of RSV. Needless to say, all were on the mend just in time for Santa's arrival. *Now it's New Year's Eve and our family has had our share of a stomach virus (yuck!).
We should be much better (and healthier) in 2010 !

Christmas morning at our house.
Santa left Landon his first basketball goal.
He knew just what to do with it... slam dunk!

Santa left Anna a 'pink' Leapster and games.
(no picture...but it had to be 'pink' - good job Santa)
