Easter Bunny

We went to see the Easter Bunny. The only way that
Anna sat on his lap was because brother did it.



On Saturday, we went to the Vineyard Easter Egg Hunt.

Spring Photos

It's funny how...
with your first child you get their baby pictures made EVERY month. But with your second one, you do good to get it made a couple of times a year ;) Landon has had his pictures taken at 1 month old and now 6 months old - so I'd say we're doing pretty good.

6 months

Landon is 6 months old today. At his doctor visit he weighed
16 lbs. 6 oz. and 27 inches long. He is so much fun! He loves to jump in his 'jumpy', roll around on his belly (not crawling yet), and laugh! His favorite person is his big sister. No one can make him squeal and laugh like Anna can. Anna will say "Mommy, he's my handsome prince. He's my best friend." I love watching the two of them together.

I also started back to work last week. I really missed my friends at work. Overall, my life is very BUSY! I run after school to get Anna from pre-school and then pick up Landon from Nana's (he stays with my mom). Then we rush home for dinner, baths, and bedtime. I know
Amy will tell me it just gets crazier once Landon is "mobile".

Next week is Spring Break !! Lucky me... after only two weeks back
to work I already get one week off!! I can't wait!

Joseph's Surprise Party

I think Joseph was actually surprised. It was hard to pull off. Thanks to all our friends and family for coming and giving Joseph a hard time ;)

Cold Weather... Warm Comfort Foods

You may or may not know... that I absolutely LOVE all things "Food Network". My favorites are Paula Deen, Barefoot Contessa, Sandra Lee, and Giada. Joseph enjoys watching Giada too...I don't know why ;) Paula Deen did a "Slow Berry Cobbler" I want to share with you. It is made in the crock pot (I love one pot cooking). You can substitute Splenda for sugar (except I would use real sugar for the topping). Also, most stores sell frozen fruit in mixed berry bags, too. Here's another one... yummy Meatball Soup. Joseph will tell you the name of "Meatball Soup" did not sound so good at first. But our family loves it! This recipe is by Emeril and is sooo easy to make. Let It Snow!

Anna was soooo excited to see it snowing this morning. She thought for sure it was supposed to snow on Christmas. Daddy told her it might snow today - so she woke up and first thing she asked "did it snow yet?" She had to go outside as soon as it started and catch one! She asked "Mommy can I make a snow angel?"

4 months

Landon is 4 months old today. He weighs 14 lbs. 6 oz.
and 25.5 inches long. He gets to start eating solids.
He is smiling and laughing....AND sleeping
through the night! Thank you BABYWISE!

Hilton Head in January

We took a short trip to Hilton Head after Anna's birthday.

We stayed at Disney's Hilton Head Resort. Surprisingly, the weather

was WONDERFUL! On Monday it was 77 degrees and sunny.

We enjoyed a day on the beach and at the pool.
